Work that has or is supporting inclusive communities and spaces. Consider the physical, environmental, cognitive, cultural, emotional, creative and social space. What is the evidence? What is best practice? What innovation is required?
Abstracts for the themes should be submitted highlighting whether it is supporting one or more of – practice, policy, and/or research. Presentations can be in one of the following formats – Paper, Poster, Workshop or Transformative Practice Session.
Academic studies and case studies from practice are both welcomed.
Papers should be 15 minute presentations. They will be grouped in 3s – with all presenters sharing a final 15 minutes to discuss the implications for practice, questions, and audience participation.
Posters require to A1 (594 x 841 mm). There will be a session each day for delegates to view and speak with poster presenters. Note that we have no facilities to print your poster – it needs to be sent or brought to the venue.
Workshops will be an hour and will be a more interactive approach to supporting the conference themes.
Transformative Practice Sessions will run for an hour and will provide an opportunity to share practice and ideas that will support change and innovation. These sessions are aimed at promoting collaboration and participation.
You should read our Guidance on submitting abstracts – but in brief, abstracts should be no longer than 350 words and the closing date will be midnight 31st January 2017 (now extended to 14th February). If successful you will be informed by 28th February 2017.
